Ramblings of Reason
Or, "Don't get me going..."
Rough, rough draft - but you get the idea
Gay Rights, You know what? This society is stupid. You've been duped into believing that everyone has rights except the one who is right. That's right. I heard that a man in my town was subpeoned and told to take down his business sign because a muslim neighbor complained about it.. Why -what did it say? It said "God loves You" - first of all we have religious freedom in this country - that sign wasn't imposing itself on that man anymore than a sign in front of a mosque advertising srevice times infringes on "my space".. secondly, if a man is offended at "God loves You" who has the problem? Let's not beat the bush here - the general prevailing religious state-approved belief is now overwhelminlgy flavored against God - against those who propose belief in God as they are mistakingly construed as being 'close-minded' and behind the times (as if this in itself justifies their rights being taken away). Enlightmentment is seen as being 'tolerant' to any belief that opposes God and his law.
We have become governed by the few over the many - by the ludicrous over the sensible, the minority over the majority - the lone rangers who label themselves as victims and minorities to obtain classification as the elite class of those labeled as victims - with the inherant rights bequeathed on such by our present state of thinking. You know it's true.. we see the results of this in ridiculous outcomes -->
ludicrous court claims which voids all reason and reverses the notion of individual responsibility (remember, if your big, your bad, if your small, you are probably a victim) -- the sadness is not just that these things happen as often as they do, but that the parties involved actually sincerely believe they have valid claim to this, they believe they are right. And there's more and more of them out there believing this. THere has been crazy rioting on college campuses this past year - Why? no one konws = these young people simply think its their right to get drunk, destroy things, and then claim how victimized they all feel by the system who has betrayed them somehow - or how their parents are to blame for everything -- its the children of the 60's blaiming 'the establishment' all over again - just one step further (down) as it always is from one generation to the next. What then, will the children of these people believe? Well, most of them will not be raised in a two parent family (I don't even use the term 'traditional family' any more, not just because people may not know what I mean but because it really is not the tradition among those of this generation). They will never have been inside a church - they will know a lot about computers and technology, they will believe that 'education' is the 'answer' - that man has the answer for all his or her problems, that the highest value is to let everyone believe what they damn well feel like it, regardless of the validity of that belief (oh, there's that concept of absolutism again, what a backward-thinker I am - hope the county doesn't come and make me peel my bumper stickers off my car). They will believe there are no defined roles of man and woman - and in fact it is admirable in some way to thwart God's natural inclinations and become something abnormal.. that it is
they will believe that the biggest haters of freedom are those who advocate a standard and absolute morality based on an unchangeable authority (GOD) and that man is not his own god. That is the unstated foundational absolute of this and coming generations (if there are any more), that man is his own god. Man is his own god.
Also, that emotions and 'feelings' are the preeminent factor in determining who one is - that feelings are supreme and should always be followed (stems back to point above). They will believe that blacks and women and any other proportionally lesser 'minority' are really quite together and that white men are really to blame for most of the world's problems - and that all are intrinsically rascist and if the other's are rascist, its really okay because they have suffered so much in generations past and are really right anyway. Psychologists are the most enlightened people as they specialize in the study of man, and if you will remember from the point above, man is god.
All the retardz of the previous generation espousing liberalism, freedom of thought as equal to license to party and trash God's laws and principles now looking at the problems and social evils and anarchy which is a direct result of their anti-beliefs, now saying, gee, we need to fix this their answer --> psychology, technology, etc. all trying to take the place of God without saying God.. how do you say "wrong" if there is no wrong? Answer --> that's not "appropriate behavior" -- How do you say "faith" if there is no such thing as a higher power (unless you want there to be!) -- How do you appeal to any ideal that doesn't immediately gratify ones self and that promotes the welfare of society.. uh, you just define it in terms of self-gratification, like "you don't run over your neighbors cat BECAUSE in the long run, it would benefit YOU to have a decent relationship with your neighbor (especially since he has a collection of winchesters in his basement)." There, see we didn't need to bring in abstract and outdated concepts such as 'morality' and appeal to divine retribution and fixed societal law or any of that clap trap, we are nice because it pays for us to be nice. And while we're at it, we'll develop the drug programs for our son's and daughters, build the mental hospitals (ouch, did we say that? we meant "social half-way houses") for your prozac-crazed, therapy-OD'd, house-wives who are at their wits end trying to assert authority over her little munchkins while trying to remain enlightened as to the fact that they have as much right to do what they want as she does - that she has no right to assert her beliefs on them -(and she better watch out cuz the state will come in and represent little johnny against her). What is this non-sense about parental authority anyway? That went out with the dark ages. Yes, right along with family picnics, and family reuniions, and families talking to each other, and family anything. What an antiquated institution, the 'family' - the social workers just bristle condescendingly at the thought of family - the state social structure works just fine, thank you - and we will schedule you for parenting classes right away, it is evident you need some repatterning in your thinking in order to be a fit global citizen in this society. (I thought we got rid of all of these people, must have been out living on a farm somewhere - just underscores the need for more funding to the batf!).
It's hard to believe that those raised on star treks 'non-interference directive' could be such social 'reformers'. It's not really though, it was all a smokescreen as it has been done before (hitler, communism, etc.) - (wait, you mean you're saying communism is 'bad'?) IN star trek they would come upon some third world (or is that third planet?) society whose culture was still ruled (. so) by some backward concepts you know, like our society used to be when it was founded (forget revisionist history for a minute, I'm talking about reality - you know, as defined by 'what really happened'), and of course, as much as Jim Kirk just longed in his inmost being to enlighten these people (or aliens, or quarks or whatever they were) as to the backwardness of their ways and the greatness of the 'think for yourself' religion of self-destination, they were inhibited by the great edict of star fleet command "thou shalt not interfere with the development and evolution of other peoples or aliens, quarks or whatever" (something like that), and so they would have to go about it some other way. Like, they couldn't actually go in and tell these people that they need to tear down their "God loves you" signs, but they could show them the inherant value in realizing (as everyone who is enlightened knows) that there 's really no such thing as God, silly, at least as you're understanding him (star trek five, the movie, had not happened yet), and that computers, medicine, and tri-corders, and phasers were defineitly the wave of the future and the way the universe was going - so, you know, you better hop on board or else get your planet obliterated, so to speak. It never really happened just like that but you know, the idea was kind of always there, that man is the answer (man with phaser and computer) and that those who believed in revelations were you know, kind of out there, wore spooky robes and such. And of course, the 'natural evolutionary process' was for man (or aliens, etc) to become more and more aware that science, technology, progress as defined by people doing things other than believing in a supreme being, was the way to go. As long as people, aliens, etc. were doing that there was no need to interfere, but of course, that would make for a boring show (and would not make our doctrinal statement for the episode) - so kirk (representing humanism) and spock (representing atheistic scientific ideas) would usually have to go in and sort things out for us all. How did I get on star trek? I don't know...More Later
I figure people either love this view or they hate it - and that's good because I have grown to thoroughly hate and despise the "humanist" (yes, it's atheist too) view that has been shoved down my throat for the last 15 years in increasingly blatant fashion while its proponenst ingenuosly plead some warped notion of 'freedom of speech' in order to justify there evangelizing and the same notion somehow to outlaw me from preaching the truth - I actually don't mind being hated and being called small-minded - I know I'm right.
They crucified another man who claimed to be the one way, the one truth, the one light - they would do the same today if they could - right now, in this place, all they can do is force you to take your sign down. Tomorrow, who knows, its a whole new generation - and they will undoubtedly succeed in going where no man has gone before - and frankly, I wouldn't want to go there. (Beam me up).
